👷‍♀️ Just Call Me Bob — I Love a Build

There’s something magical about a build. The prep. The plans. The moment the chaos starts to take shape and you see imagination turn into structure.

Honestly, nothing gives me more of a buzz.

Being part of the prep for a live event, studio set, or activation is like watching creativity and logistics have a love child. You start with sketches, CADs, and “what ifs” — and end up standing inside something that once only existed in your inbox at 2am.

It’s not glamorous. It’s hard hats, dust, coffee, and problem-solving on speed. But oh, it’s satisfying.

A strong producer is absolutely key during a build. You’re the glue between design, tech, safety, and the schedule — the calm voice in a sea of forklifts, flight cases, and people shouting, “Where’s the gaffer tape?” 😅

You need a solution mindset and nerves of steel.
You’re part diplomat, part engineer, part therapist.
You translate creative dreams into safe, achievable, budget-friendly reality — ideally all at once.

Because let’s be real — seeing a concept grow from an idea on a moodboard to an actual, physical world you can walk through (and maybe even broadcast from) is addictive.

Every nut, bolt, cable, and contingency plan becomes part of a bigger story — and watching that story unfold, safely, to time and to budget, is one of the most rewarding parts of the job.

There’s a moment just before doors open — when the lights come up, the screens hum, and everything’s ready — that makes all the chaos worth it. That’s when you remember why you do it.

Whether it’s a live show, a global conference, or a brand activation in a field somewhere, I’ll always be that person with a headset on, half-covered in dust, smiling like a lunatic because we built that.

So yes, just call me Bob. I love a build. 🛠️💛
