I’m pleased to share that I’ve recently become a certified Mental Health First Aider.
The statistics in our industry are deeply concerning: 1 in 3 workers have experienced suicidal thoughts in the past year alone - a figure far above the UK average. With the downturn in work and rising pressure on freelancers and crews, it’s never been more important to build awareness and support one another.
I look forward to applying what I’ve learned to better support my colleagues, myself, and future productions I work on.
