Thrilled to share some news — I’ve been accepted onto the @ScreenSkills Unscripted TV “Step Up to Producer/Director” training programme, an industry-recognised scheme designed to upskill Assistant Producers and DV Directors looking to make the move into PD roles.

Over the next few months, I’ll be developing key skills in editorial decision-making, directing crews, edit producing, and leadership, alongside other talented creatives from across the UK. I’m really excited to build on my experience as a Shooting AP across factual, lifestyle and food programming — including Location, Location, Location, Scotland’s Greatest Escape and Food Fest — and take that next step towards becoming a confident and well-rounded Producer/Director.

I’m also available for work now and keen to find opportunities where I can apply what I’m learning — whether that’s in shooting, development or editorial roles.
