10 YEARS AGO TODAY VS NOW….
In the first photo, I was 16, determined to follow my passion and start a career in TV and Media. I’d head out in all kinds of weather (as you can probably tell!) with my camera in hand, chasing any story I thought was worth telling.
Fast forward 10 years, and I’m proud of how far that determination has taken me:
- Contributing to some of the UK’s most recognisable shows
- Earning two degrees
- Meeting crew and talent I still call friends
- Filming with hundreds, if not thousands of inspiring individuals
- Working alongside Hollywood talent
- Filming countless episodes for Blue Peter
- Showcasing my creativity straight into people’s homes and onto their sofas through television
- Travelling to places I never imagined, capturing the weird and the wonderful
- Meeting and filming with some truly remarkable people. From astronauts and footballers to actors, authors.
And it all started with me picking up a camera and turning a dream into reality.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s: never give up on your passion. The journey may be bumpy, and it won’t always look like “the dream,” but persistence pays off.
I’m still early in my career, but I’m genuinely excited about what’s ahead. The stories yet to be told, the places yet to be explored, and the people I’ve yet to meet.
