Today a massive week kicks off on my beloved #EastEnders on the #BBC . After 20 years, Kat Slater and daughter Zoe will be reunited on screen.
Earlier this year I developed and Exec Produced #EastEnders 40 Years on the Square and when Jessie Wallace who plays Kat agreed to be interviewed - I was honoured.
Jessie rarely gives interviews but she so eloquently explained the ramifications “you ain’t my mother!” had on audiences. It wasn’t just a catchphrase, it had, and continues to have, real life consequences for the #audience at home and demonstrates the power of #soap , continuing #drama and #television .
