INVISIBLE WORK... MY LEAST FAVOURITE GENRE.

Someone once told me: “A credit isn’t just a name – it’s a thank you that lasts forever.”

This week, that phrase hit differently. I poured my heart into producing a TV project – the long days, the problem-solving, the moments where you quietly hold the whole thing together. I was told my work would be credited. When the episode aired, my name wasn’t there.

It’s not about ego. It’s about being seen.

In any industry, recognition is a simple act with a big impact. It tells people their effort mattered, that their part in the story is worth remembering. And the truth is, leaving someone out can feel like erasing them from the history of the work.

Whether you’re close with someone personally or not, if they’ve done the work, give them the credit. It costs nothing – but for the person receiving it, it can mean everything.
