If you're feeling the pinch, you're not alone. It’s a weird limbo-y time, and the uncertainty can be tough. BUT — a little reminder that your skills are massively transferable. Storytelling, production, logistics, creativity, collaboration — these aren't just TV skills, they’re industry-agnostic superpowers.
✨ Now is a great time to flex those muscles elsewhere — events, brands, digital, experiential, shortform... there’s a lot out there if you broaden the brief.
In the meantime:
✅ Stack up new skills (plenty of free courses around)
✅ Stay visible — drop a note to an old contact, say hi to a new one
✅ Create something, even if it’s small
✅ And be kind to yourself — progress doesn’t have to look loud
I had made the move myself from pure TV into brand and experiential work way before this slump, so if you ever want a chat, swap ideas, or just need a morale boost — my DMs are open.
