Updated my About... a boy from Walsall who dreams big... so feel proud to have followed and lived my wildest dreams! "Onwards" and upwards! 🤘

"Maverick" documentary director and producer – specialising in leading the storytelling and production of warm, feel-good and authentic docs celebrating high-profile talent that are joyous to make and joyous to watch.

A passionate creative with entrepreneurial spirit to make it happen, through being multi-skilled and delivering brilliance, and make it magic.

Freelance shooting producer/director and editor since 2015 after my dream job making MTV News bulletins and specials. Acclaimed feature documentaries I have produced and/or directed include...

* Directing and editing Razorlight: Fall To Pieces (2022) that premiered at the 30th Raindance Film Festival as "one of the most authentic music documentaries we've had the pleasure of" and now on Amazon Prime Video.

* Producing Fatboy Slim Brighton beach party film Right Here, Right Now (2023) for Sky Documentaries that was nominated for Best Specialist Factual at the Broadcast Digital Awards and has been screened globally from Australia to Barcelona via Chile.

* Don't Let The Devil Take Another Day (2020) about Stereophonics frontman/songwriter Kelly Jones that premiered at BFI Southbank, as the opening night selection for Doc'n Roll Film Festival, before a UK/Ireland cinema release.

* 12 months of access filming around his massive arena tour towards Micky Flanagan: Peeping Behind The Curtain (2020) that led to a TV show commission by Sky.

* Developing into directing/editing football manager doc The Gaffer (2019) for BT Sport Films. Brilliant access to football managers at five National League clubs (the lowest level of the professional game) in the same season.

Filmed in more than 30 countries around the world in extraordinary places and with many of my favourite musicians, comedians and sports stars. Starting on CBBC show Sportsround at Television Centre in 2008 before MA Broadcast Journalism degree (fast-tracked aged 20 and graduating with Distinction) for more than 15 years I have developed many ideas to commission/acquisition and led productions for national and global audiences. Selected and celebrated by talent schemes including BAFTA Connect, Edinburgh TV Festival's Ones To Watch and The Network, Raindance Film Festival and Directors UK Inspire.
