✨ Big news from Karlovy Vary ✨

Àlex Brendemühl has won Best Actor at the 59th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival for When a River Becomes the Sea (Quan un riu esdevé el mar), directed by Pere Vilà i Barceló — a project I had the privilege to support as Production Manager during the final stage of shooting.

The jury honoured his portrayal of a father who cannot erase his daughter’s pain after being a victim of sexual abuse, but who loves and supports her constantly throughout her healing process.

So happy to see this project connecting with the audience. 💓
