Greg Wallace has been cleared of any serious wrong doing.

But still told there is no way back for him at the BBC.

Maybe I’ve missed something.. but I’m not sure what he’s now done that’s so bad that he can’t get employment with them again?

Was this not simply banter now?

Im not sure exactly what he’s meant to have said. Were these comments a poor joke?

Or is there more to it?

I know that having a bit of a friendly banter is all part of the fun of working with people.

@NickNorton I think there’s much more to it. A LOT of people have come forward now with allegations of inappropriate behaviour. Particularly women and I think it’s pretty outrageous he has been using his neurodiversity as an excuse!

@SarahLee interesting. I’ve only really been hearing snippets about it. So i guess there had to be more. I just don’t know what it’s was. Thanks for clarifying.

And I did see the neurodiversity reason and scratch my head. It seemed a ‘convenient’ time to bring it up, when I’ve never heard him mention it before.

I’ve only been following this story from headlines..and saw he’d been cleared of some. But now reading that 45 claims have been upheld!

This puts a very diferent spin on it.

Now I see why he had to be removed.

That’s serious.

I’d say that was the end of his broadcasting career now.
