Was this a case of laxer editorial processes on iPlayer feeds than the once-traditional all-day linear TV broadcast?

@RobinParker Seriously, I was watching it live and I don't think it should have been censored. Punk acts are always protesting against status quo. There's a lot of confusion between antisemitism and being against the current conflict in Gaza. People need to talk about it, and not be silenced.

@MaysaMoncao there's definitely been some deliberate oversimplification of the band's words, not least in the egregious Mail on Sunday headline.

The Featured Artists Coalition trade body has stark words for the BBC:
"Preemptively grading artists according to their ’risk’ factor feels arbitrary and disproportionate – and a dangerous step towards censorship ... could potentially curtail artistic freedom around certain genres and inadvertently punish those who are simply expressing their views"
