Warner Bros Discovery-owned US cablenet HBO has greenlit a third and final season of comedy series The Comeback, 20 years after the show’s original debut.
Season three will begin production this summer and will air on HBO and stream on HBO Max in 2026. Created by Michael Patrick King and Lisa Kudrow, The Comeback debuted its first season in 2005, with a second season following a decade later in 2015. Kudrow will star in the comedy alongside series regulars Dan Bucatinsky, Laura Silverman and Damian Young. Kudrow, King and Bucatinsky exec produce with John Melfi.
