Applications are open for our latest #GriersonDocLab training programme for aspiring #ArchiveProducers – in collaboration with @primevideouk Pathway – a suite of training initiatives designed to open up access to jobs in the TV and film industry across the UK.
The initiative will provide 8 successful trainees with:
👉intensive training from industry professionals
👉a mentor
👉paid work placements at a UK production company on an archive production
and much more.
So if you…
✅ Are UK-based with 4-6 years' experience in TV
✅ Have a passion for docs & archive
✅ Have worked on productions which have used archive
✅ Have strong research skills & attention to detail
✅ Have exceptional communication & organisational skills
✅ Are a creative problem-solver
… this could be the programme for you! It’s completely free to apply and costs for taking part are covered by the Trust.
Like all Grierson DocLab training programmes, this iteration welcomes applications from those currently under-represented in the industry, with a particular emphasis on those who are based outside of London in the nations and regions, those who may be returning to work after a career break, and people from working class backgrounds.
The scheme has been created to help workers who have faced multiple barriers to progression in this growing area of the industry. This opportunity would be ideal for those looking for a job role that suits part-time work, job shares and returners to work, as well as those who are based in the nations and regions, which Prime Video Pathway is keen to support.
