Why We’re Discouraging Availability Posts (and What We’d Love to See Instead)
We wanted to share a quick update about availability posts on the TM Hub and why we’ve recently started enforcing our rules on this more strictly.
This decision wasn’t taken lightly. It was made in direct response to feedback from freelancers in our community who told us that availability posts had become overwhelming, made it harder to see other content, and were not adding value to the sense of community the Hub was originally designed to foster.
We really welcome original posts, especially those that share your experiences, successes, reflections, or advice from working in the industry. These kinds of posts spark important conversations and help us all feel more connected and supported.
Our intention is always to keep the hub as helpful, inclusive and supportive as possible and to give freelancers and companies a place to promote their programmes. We also remain focused on our work with recruiters to improve the freelance landscape, especially around transparent job ads, better communication, and increasing diversity.
If you have any questions or feel unsure about anything, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help and always happy to chat.
Thank you for being part of this community.
