I had a great time at a special preview of 'Ruth and Steve - From Merthyr with Love' where Steve Speirs takes Ruth Jones around his home town of Merthyr. It was such a fun show to work on.

Every day I worked closely with my mate, Director and Producer Matthew Tune, who had a clear vision for every scene, crafting the show in my second home, Gorilla Post Production in Cardiff Bay. He really is decisive and creative in the edit, which I love!
Executive Producer Jonathan Hill was heavily involved too and a top bloke to work with. He came up with fantastic ideas and fun suggestions to make the show shine and helped with the writing process.
I'd like to say special thanks to
Assistant Producer Katie Sands and
Production Manager Fiona Francis too for making things run smoothly and tackling any issues along the way. Top job! 👍
Paul Hawkins & Mei Williams on Camera, Brian Ullah Sound, were a brilliant team and delivered the goods on screen. 🎥
And Alison Webb on makeup made sure Ruth and Steve always looked lovely.
And thanks to BBC Wales commissioners
Sorelle Neil and Julian Carey for helping to steer the ship too.
And finally, Ruth Jones and Steve Speirs were lovely to work with. Always up for it and so down to earth with great chemistry as longtime friends.
I'm really looking forward to watching this go out on TV on Friday 13th of June On BBC1 Wales and iPlayer. And judging by the reaction tonight I'm sure TV audiences will love it too.
On to the next one!
