Featuring some much-needed good news for nature (and tying in nicely with Easter themes of hope and renewal) Our Changing Planet: Restoring Our Rivers, airs on Easter Sunday at 7pm on BBC One.
It’s an uplifting story following the biggest river restoration project in the world, bringing 400 miles of the Klamath in Oregon and California back to life after years of tireless campaigning by local tribes and conservationists. Plus, the race against time to clean-up the Seine in time for the Paris 2024 Games.
As SP I was lucky to work with a small but perfectly formed team, including brilliant P/D @CarolineEl-Marazki and unflappable PM @HelenWallbank - it was a huge logistical challenge of boats, planes, massive explosions and swimming (legally!) in the Seine but with their tenacity, enthusiasm and hard work we pulled it off.
