🎬 Northern Heart Films has expanded its documentary bursary to support emerging working-class filmmakers across the north of England.
Two selected applicants will each receive £3,000, plus mentoring, post-production support from Sticks & Glass, well-being support from Film in Mind, and industry access to Sheffield DocFest 2025.
This year’s theme is Climate & Class, and shortlisted filmmakers will pitch their ideas at LA1 Shorts in Lancaster this June. Winners will go on to produce their short films with full backing from the scheme’s partners.
