Composers! What's happening? I've had the opportunity to have composed music in my shows about as often as I've left the cutting room in time to pick my kids up from school. e.g about twice - and on each occasion that was a choice made by the channel! If I did have the choice I'd probably cast my mind around to a show I admired the music on and look up the person who did it - which is how I got the wonderfully generous Adrian Nicholl's work on to a charity promo I was passionate about. So how come I'm besieged with "friend" requests from composers? Are people actually getting to use composed music more than I realise and I'm anomaly? Or is there a glut of composer talent out there struggling to find an outlet? (and has TM helped?)
