I wrote this short drama for Pukka Films in 2022 (Dir: Fergus Dingle). The film aims to show young people the dangers of getting involved with gambling and how easily a simple 'flutter' can devolve into a life-ruining addiction. The narrative follows a group of friends from their teen years through to their early professional lives. It's interspersed with interviews where recovering gambling addicts reinforce the learning points with their real experiences. I am particularly proud of the montage sequence (inspired by Aronofsky) which took a lot of research into the brain science of gambling. The film won several awards, including the Evcom Gold in 2022.
