This morning I met with my local MP, Emma Reynolds (Lab) to talk about the state of our industry and how the downturn has been affecting the mental health/financial wellbeing of freelancers. I showed her the Looking Glass survey & a whole list of media articles. She did seem a bit shocked and was open to forwarding any thoughts I have to the DCMS etc. I would urge as many of you as possible to get in touch with your MPs. The more we have on side, the harder we can push for support/reform etc..
