I researched, developed, worked on the pitch, shot and edited this character-driven feature documentary, which played on occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide. During a period of just over one year, I forged a relationship of trust with our main characters, a Franco-Rwandan couple Alain and Dafroza Gauthier and established a relationship of trust with both defence and Prosecution lawyers in charge of one of the most consequential trials in France, where for the first time the defendant was accused of having committed crimes against humanity and genocide.
