There are plenty of crook blokes in this industry, we don’t celebrate the good eggs enough.

So here’s to my Welsh brother and the king of true crime, @BoChannon. We’ve just spent the past few weeks crisscrossing the Southern States on a high-volume crime series, and it’s been a hell of a ride.

We first met on Gold Rush, and he’s had my back ever since—pushing me, challenging me, and giving me the chance to level up. In just a few weeks, I’ve learned more about shot composition, interview techniques, camera, sound, lighting, and droning than I have in years.

Bo’s a patient, generous teacher—no gatekeeping, no ego, just a willingness to explain what the hell he’s doing with the 100th tiny tweak to the lights and his weirdly militant way of winding cables (which I’m still convinced is nonsense). He never expected me to just be changing lenses—he gave me space to problem-solve, contribute, and get creative. A proper collaboration.

We’ve worked hard, told some cracking stories, and had a laugh along the way. Long roads, good music, big gulps, and real professionalism. Further proof (if it were needed) that Welsh people just do it better.
