At 9:07 17th Feb I got an email saying my application wasn't succesful (fair enough) but the job had already had been filled. Second application, nothing. The one thing I did very early on was to acknowledge people when they sent a CV and then say if they hadn't been successful. If people are recruiting just take the time to think how you would be feel if you were applying and got nothing. A simple email is all it takes, even if it is a reply all to those that don't make it.
