PSA - Spanish speaking, Spain-based PD available for long and short term projects!
I've realised lately that I've not been doing a very good job of publicising the fact that for the past few years I've been based in Valencia, Spain (partly out of a desire to not fall off the radar in the UK and still be considered for UK based roles!) But after 4 years here I'm keen to make more of my connections here and find more locally based projects to get involved in, so here's my official call out that if you're looking for a Spanish-speaking, Spain-based PD, Producer or fixer for your next project - do reach out! I'm based in Valencia and was closely involved in the volunteer cleanup effort on the ground here, and have plenty of local connections and knowledge I'm happy to share.
My background is in sensitive access, institutional docs, adventure travel and environmental/sustainability and I've covered genres including obs doc, current affairs, specialist factual and factual entertainment.
Happy to take on longer term directing projects, or jump on last minute interview requests/story producing and people finding, or helping you navigate location access and Spanish beaurocracy. If you think I can help on your next project, do give me a shout!
