What exactly does a Post Production Coordinator do? Did you know that a Post Production Coordinator sometimes has to co-work with every single department in a production, from Head of Departments to Publicity teams?
They manage the administration of the department and organise documents, storage of final video and audio masters and offline editorial materials. They maintain good communication between the production and post-production facilities and make bookings for automated dialogue replacement (ADR) sessions.
Maysa Monção is a BAFTA member and a Production Guild member who has been working in the industry since she came to the UK in 2011. Maysa was a film critic for 10 years before she shifted her career into Post Production. She worked in episodic series, documentaries and entertainment shows, including Gangs of London 2, Dreaming Whilst Black and most recently the Oscar winning award feature film called “2073”, by Asif Kapadia.
Maysa Monção will share her experience in the industry and run a session inside Soho Square Studios where ADR sessions take place. This is a practical experience in a studio with a history that goes back more than two decades.
Who is this event for?
– new entrants in the industry that want to explore working in post production,
– actors who want to improve their performance in ADR,
– post production talents in the sound department.
Places are limited and we will privilege British Latin American talents. This masterclass is part of The Film Locos Hub, supported by The Film and TV Charity.
Ticket price: £12.00 + VAT
Get in touch with myself to register for the event.
