RottenTomatoes have rebranded their review section.

Critics Reviews = Tomatometer
Public reviews = Popcornmeter

Is this to confuse people when the public give massively diferent reviews to critics?

It’s not obvious to anyone new where these scores come from by the name any more.

It wouldn’t surprise me if it gave them a bit more leverage to start mingling critic reviews with public reviews and visa versa to make them match more.

Something iffy is behind this.
