@RobinParker This is definitely heartening. Without any employment protections, freelancers are always at a greater risk of losing work for calling out bad behaviour.

@RobinParker it’s good to see things being done and protections being put in place. It’s the only way people are going to feel safe coming forward when they need to. It’s a terrifying prospect, putting everything on the line in an industry you love and cannot emulate anywhere else, but when you don’t come forward then it allows terrible behaviour to continue and for others to fall victim.
So much love and respect for those 13 people, and a lucky number so I hope that’s a good omen 🙏
