At our freelancer networking event on Monday evening in Soho, a group of us were discussing Ridley Scott's Gladiator 2. I saw it last Friday and hated it. Some others felt differently. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts if you have seen it! To my mind Paul Mescal was miscast (the fact his Irish accent kept making extended cameos didn't help) while the bizarre addition of CGI sharks & monkeys (which looked like alien dogs) added to the overall mess.
