My film recently premiered in New York.
A feature documentary I filmed/produced/Directed. It follows political activist Jorge Lara son of Rodrigo Lara Bonilla who was the justice minister assassinated by Escobar. Jorge after years in exile returns to Colombia to expose the politicians who were taking money off the Medellin cartel and who are still alive today. He wants justice and his father’s case is still open. A twist of fate brings Jorge to meet Escobars son and they discover they have a lot in common. Both little boys, thrown into exile because of Escobar, end up in the same country, it nearly ended in bloodshed but instead they become best friends.
