What is the best way to write your CV when you have had both producer and production coordinator experiences? I have been told so many differing opinions by a myriad of people, recruiters, MD's and hiring managers and I still don't know. Should they be 2 separate CV's or one with both experiences?
I thought that having such diverse experience would be beneficial but it feels the complete opposite right now and I have worked less than 2 weeks in the past year.

@NeilWilliams Yes, I'd definitely have two versions of your CV: one with all your Producing credits at the top (in order of most recent back), then all your PC credits under a separate heading. My key advice always is that recruiters will look (initially) at your CV for 3 seconds. In that time, they have to glean a) who you are (in terms of your job grade, type of programmes/ networks/ companies you work for etc) and b) that that fits broadly with what they are looking for. 1/2

@NeilWilliams 2/2 if you can get over that '3 second first look' hurdle, they'll put you in the pile of people to examine more closely. Your CV wants to tell a clear story that positions you as - in your case - either a PC or Producer. Recruiters don't want / won't spend time trying to decipher your career journey if you've moved about different roles. So make it super simple for them.
