In 2007 I went to North Korea to perform to 15,000 people over 5 days. It was one of the most bizarre experiences of my life, but one if the most worthwhile. I have performed in over 100 countries and recorded 18 albums, with a distinct focus on music as a platform for intercultural dialogue.Later in 2024 I will be heading to Iraq to perform with Iraqi musicians and I hope to make a documentary about this.
