Simon's knack for making people feel so special was unique and it was a huge honour for The Talent Manager to have him champion our work. I've been so sad all weekend since hearing of his passing. He was intelligent, tenacious and kind and I suspect the flood of tributes this morning is just the beginning.

@The Talent Manager This is really sad news & a huge loss for the industry. Simon was absolutely passionate about trying to make the industry better, more representative and inclusive. He wasn't in it for his own self-aggrandisement but was a champion of practical action, practical people & what worked, He saw through a lot of the gesture-politics of which TV is so good but at the same time, was incredibly astute and knew how to play the game. He will be sorely missed.
