"I'm writing to you on behalf of Maysa Gabrielli. My name is Jeff Nichols. I'm a film writer and director. I had the pleasure of meeting and being interviewed by Maysa on two occasions. The first was at the London edition of Sundance when I was there promoting my film MUD. Maysa had been following me through different activities I took part in with the festival, such as a interview hub about independent films. I was impressed by her questions and knowledge of my films as well as the industry in general. In 2013, I accepted the role of President of the Jury of Festa Internazionale di Cinema in Rome. I was extraordinarily busy watching every film in competition, but Maysa managed to contact me and requested another interview.
