Creating this promotional video for my website felt a bit like writing an epitaph. Such is the climate in the creative industries right now. Then I remembered how much I enjoyed creating the setting, the story and fiddling about with the motion graphics. And at the root of it all, the joy of every single one of my films whose shots feature in this video. This is why I do it, why I'm still in the game. Just a reminder that you don't need anyone's permission or employment to keep creating, in fact you must, to keep your authentic voice alive.
