Hi everyone! Inspired by @LouGallagher 's post yesterday, I thought it might be nice for the TM team to share abit about themselves too. We'd all love to connect in with more of you on here, but why would you do that if you don't really know us! So, I'm up first (@SarahLee - your turn tomorrow!)....and would love you to intro yourselves in comments below too....

I'm Becs!

I live near Oxford with my two kids who are 13 and 10 and my cat, Tiger.

I had a wobbly start to my 40s as I went through a divorce and had a successful business suffer at the hands of lockdown and have to close it down in 2020 whilst trying to single parent, find a job and navigate home schooling. So, was forced into a bit of a life pivot moment. Fortunately, I met Sarah and The Talent Manager and here I am three years later!

I used to work in telly and was a PD mainly on reality TV shows including Big Brother. Claim to fame, I locked Coolio in a toilet which he thought was done on purpose, but actually was just me not able to use the locks in the BB house. Oh and I spent Christmas Day with Kerry Katona...enough said about that, the better...

I was on Dragons' Den and got investment.

Now, I work on all the online content & marketing for the TM Hub and our socials and host our virtual events which include our webinars, CV workshops and networking events. I really like connecting with people and am especially interested in working out what makes someone tick. Please do always feel free to get in touch with me about what other things TM or this community could be doing better. You can email me or join one of our 'Open House' sessions - our regular online zoom meet ups to discuss your thoughts and ideas!

Having had my share of unplanned events happen in my life, I know how important it is to keep talking to people and have enrolled in a Counselling Skills course this year to expand my knowledge in that area, having experienced first hand the importance of therapy.

Biggest piece of advice, life is all phases. And when things feel too much, just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Eventually you come out the other side, much wiser!
