The BBC’s Creative Diversity team is looking for a PROJECT MANAGER to run BBC Elevate, the scheme which supports deaf, disabled and neurodivergent off-screen talent in the TV industry.
Working closely with the Creative Diversity, Disability Lead you will be in charge of leading this mid-level career development scheme facilitating industry introductions, placements, mentorships and training for a cohort of around 30 people.
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced TV industry professional and/or producer that showcases creative excellence, an understanding of deaf, disabled and neurodivergent access requirements, strong experience of the freelance marketplace and role expectations within it, and extensive relationships with the independent production sector.
You will be an excellent communicator that can inspire stakeholders to embrace new ideas and ways of working and establish long-term relationships with partners. You will be a highly organised individual that can manage a variety of requests and feels comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Type of contract: 6 month fixed term contract
Location: UK Flexible
Part time: 3 or 4 days per week / open to flexible working and it will be part of the discussion at offer stage.
