Join us as we delve into the heart of Europe's most iconic carnival, celebrating the rich tapestry of Caribbean heritage: the music, food, culture and melting pot that makes Notting Hill Carnival truly special. 🎵🍲🌍

I spoke to a range of people about their experiences on the day including passionate mas band managers at Release Di Riddim Tribe 👯‍♀️ ; an activist from the Windrush generation on the uprising origins of NHC; a Grenadian chef and food stall owner who gets joy from feeding people 🇬🇩; the legendary sound Rampage on the historic importance of the sound system 🔊; and interesting everyday people and families who travelled far and wide from across the UK and the globe for the event. 🕺🌍

This was an extra special piece as we recognised the 75th anniversary of Windrush and 50 years of sound systems.
