What did Amy watch last night: Boiling Point (film), Bake Off and Big Brother

My house is a 50/50 split when it comes to Film and TV. My husband is a film-fanatic! And as we had an early tea I relented to watching a film on a Tuesday night. And as said film was only 90mins I'd still have time to watch Bake Off. Woo.

I've been wanting to watch Boiling Point for ages and it didn't disappoint. Definitely not an easy watch - I was so stressed out throughout. But the performances and choreography were so exceptional it outweighed all the discomfort. Although I've got to say I'm not sure I'll be rushing for the new BBC series right away.

From the stress of Boiling Point's kitchen I bounced into the chaos of the Bake Off tent. I messed up my timings so only caught the last half hour where apparently all the bakers were also messing up timings. I felt like all my favourites crumbled last night and it gave me more reason to wish that GBBO operated on a league basis! My fave moment was Pru's sassy quip about West Ham. I'm not a footie fan but I loved her cheek!

I could only handle 5 mins of BB after all that! I flicked it on part way through right in time for a sweet scene with Yinrun helping Trish shave her head. It gave me ALL the feels! But when it moved on to Pot Noodle-gate it was time to turn off.
