We won a SAFTA (South African Film and Television Award)! I am super grateful to the exceptional crew of 'Tropika Island of Treasure.' Winning a SAFTA is a testament to their remarkable talent, perseverance and dedication. It was a whirlwind of a production with tight deadlines and demanding shoot days, but we pushed through and turned challenges into triumphs. Everyone's professionalism and camaraderie not only made great television but also made it fun for everyone involved. A big thank you to the show's sponsor, Clover, who handed me the reins on this project as the Series Director and let me bring my ideas to life.
