As Managing Director of RTÉ News, I commissioned ‘The Truth Matters’ campaign to reframe the audience’s perception of the Irish public broadcaster, many of whom thought it mattered to Ireland but not to them - to evoke a greater personal connection & to frame RTÉ as their antidote to fake news. Post TX research found that 70% of the Irish public trusted RTÉ - the most of any Irish news organisation.
