Here is another picture from the last filming assignment I did for Blue Planet Film and NDR Doclights.
We filmed a nesting bird colony with 1 to 1.5 million nesting birds, which brings some challenges. One challenge was the noise. Sometimes the colony can get over 100 dB loud, which means it's as loud as standing 10 metres away from a jackhammer. Therefore, we had to wear hearing protection from time to time, as you can see in the picture.
