When booking a courier for a production, what is the most important factor?
Added 3 years ago
I've recently launched my very own specialist TV & Film courier business, and in order to provide the best possible service, I'd love to know what production teams look for when booking a courier. What is the first thing you look for... price? reliability? ease of booking? flexibility?

Cost, speed and reliability - not necessarly in that order (testimonials from previous customers are good to have available) Good Luck

Hey Dylan,I need reliability. I need to know that when that item leaves my hand, it is going straight to the delivery address as safely as if I took it myself. I want to know that the courier knows how to transport drives/lenses/forgotten kit and confidential scripts to people quickly and carefully. If you can put a little tracker on it so I can see its progress on your website, I'll love you forever.

Definitely reliability would be the first priority for me. I also like being able to track it so we can get accurate ETAs. My favourite company to use I simply book by sending an email and there's a human on the end of the phone 24hrs a day who give verbal and email updates on tracking. They also know me by name which just adds that extra touch!
