I'm very excited to post this trailer for upcoming series Murder in the Pacific, which I directed alongside a fantastic team. The first of the three episodes begins at 9pm on Thursday 2nd of March on BBC Two, or you can watch the whole series on BBC iplayer the same night.
In 1985 the peaceful harbour of Auckland, New Zealand was rocked by an explosion, the shock waves of which reverberated across the world. The Greenpeace ship the Rainbow Warrior - the ultimate symbol of peace - had been bombed and sent to the depths with a crew member on board.
This three-part series pieces together the extraordinary events leading up to that fateful night and, with personal testimony from those involved including the bombers themselves, unravels the astounding twists, turns and bizarre gaffes that eventually led to the indictment of the powerful forces at the heart of this crime.
