I am thrilled to announce that my documentary film, "The Birdcarver," has been selected as one of the top 7 finalists in the Nuevas Voces Latinoamericanas-Cortometraje category at Santiago Wild 2023. The film was chosen from among more than 700 documentaries in the competition, making this a significant accomplishment.



"The Birdcarver" is a powerful and moving documentary that tells the story of Eloir, an artisan who makes replicas of birds from the Lagoa do Peixe National Park and his quixotic struggle for preservation.
