“We strongly believe that it’s okay not to know where something’s going to end and that’s really important because we need to document modern Britain as its unfolding in the present. Present tense documentary storytelling has been slightly lost because we were forced to rely on archive footage due to the pandemic, and we really want to bring that back.”
