And oh boyyyy is it juicy.
As the real-life story goes, in 1974 John Stonehouse took a leisurely dip in the sea and failed to return and after some time he was presumed dead.
In actuality the politician, was instead knee-deep in debt lol
He resurfaced eventually and (to paraphrase the saying ....) manure hit the fan but I don't want to give away too many spoilers.
I loved working on this production because I take interest in history that we can learn from and apply to today.
It's not the first time I've heard of a dodgy politician and it won't be the last, but this one will always and forever be remembered.
