Hello Talent Manager!

I really enjoyed working as a Camera Trainee yesterday on a short documentary for Northern Fortress Films in Leeds. It was great to assist the DOP with setting up the lighting equipment, help operate the dolly and work as the B camera focus puller. Before working on-set as the Camera Trainee I also volunteered as the documentary’s Archive Researcher, independently researching and finding photographic material on topics such as the Syrian Civil War and the 2022 Russian Invasion of Ukraine, which was used during filming. Although I did not have a previous Archive Researcher credit, I enjoyed teaching myself these skills and growing my knowledge of using Archives by organising Zoom calls with Archive Producers and Researchers. I hope to further my experience in these fields in the near future!
