Does anyone have any advice, if you worked on a series and it’s then after txtn re-edited and given another name and voice over, because it was so popular. And half the original team who made it are not credited. I know it now has a new name but nearly all the footage was from the original series. When you see your hard work on screen with no credit, it feels like a right kick in the teeth.

Have you approached the production company about it? They may say it's too late now to do anything about it but would be interested to know what their response was.

@MattBorn I received a very generic response saying the newly edited series had mostly new stories, (this is not correct). And that I was credited on the original series and that only the story teams on the new series were credited. This is also an untruth. Nothing I can do about it, this person has decided to take the credit away from me and seems like that’s just how the industry works. People are shafted and can do nothing about it.

Yes I have, haven’t received a response yet. When you see all your hard work and know how hard you worked on something to be cut out, like nothing, just feels horrible.

Yes, very frustrating ... to put it mildly. Might be worth speaking to Directors UK, as you (and. or others) may be entitled to/ missing out on some residuals. I'm not sure details of how it works. But perhaps @NicGuttridge can help.
