What a happy day to be honored by the 3º FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINEMA EDUCA CLAQUETE AÇÃO with one of the best picture awards. The Birdcarver is the kind of Brazilian story that is rarely told and I’m so proud that it was part of this wonderful Brazilian Festival.

It’s wonderful to receive this award and to know that Brazilian audiences have responded so positively to the film. I hope that all who see it will gain a greater understanding of the problems that the environment is facing.
