An in-depth dive into the history of the Cycling Jersey, talking to collectors, experts, top-brand designers and legendary cyclists, complimented with a range of specialist archive. From pitching the original idea, I was then responsible for writing the treatment and developing the script, creating an understanding of the history from the original wool jerseys, to the sleek, aerodynamic modern materials. Casting contributors, sourcing locations and finding jerseys that shaped the documentary was a key part of the production process that I led. Directing passionate contributors on location was really enjoyable.
